Will it slow my pages down?

Serving is typically ~200ms, with 24-hour ad caching and a fail-open SDK: an ad can never block or break your page. On any error, and on every no-match, your page renders exactly as it would without Specify.

What creative formats do I need to support?

Three standard formats, rendered with a normal image tag (creatives may be GIFs): landscape 16:9 (640×360) for hero and featured slots, long banner 8.09:1 (1456×180) for headers and leaderboards, and short banner 16:5 (640×200) for inline, sidebar, and mobile slots. Each SDK call requests one format and returns at most one ad; you pick the shape that fits the slot, we handle the rest.

Does this conflict with my existing ad stack?

Accepted Answer

No: it sits above it. Specify fills only when a wallet-verified visitor matches an eligible campaign; everything else is an instant no-fill and your stack proceeds untouched. The efficient setup: Specify at first-look priority, your existing network as the fallback on every no-fill. Strictly additive: no floor conflicts, no exclusivity, no minimums.

Do my users need to connect a wallet on my site?

Accepted Answer

No, but if they do, use it. Passing the user’s addresses through the SDK gives the strongest matching and the best fill rates. Without wallet UX, Audience Extension takes over: Specify ID recognizes people who connected a wallet elsewhere on the Specify network, so premium fills still land on pages where no wallet ever connects. Plenty of publishers run both across different properties.

What data leaves my pages?

The ad request (including any wallet addresses you choose to pass) and, with consent, the Specify identifier. No page content, no browsing history, no fingerprint surface.

When and how do I get paid?

Monthly. You get a payment slip via email and in your dashboard at the end of each billing period, paid within 30 days by bank transfer or crypto, your choice. You don’t wait for the slip to see how you’re doing: impressions, conversions, current eCPM, and tier progression are live in the dashboard.
